LIFE HAPPENS “EN LA LUZ DEL TIEMPO”

LIFE HAPPENS

It took 5 months to start this project and to get to Peru.
I have been living in a suitcase for the last 2 months.
I have made many friends and discovered a wonderful and warm hearted country.
I am preparing 2 more projects in Peru.
I had an interview on TV and one in El Commercio.
2 days ago I received a call from El Commercio asking me to send a high resolution image for the cover page of the paper.
The fairy tale of the kids of Ruka goes on.
I am so proud of these children of HOW THEY SEE and their work.
6 weeks ago they barely knew what a camera is, today they are published on the cover of a national newspaper.
If that is not a fairy tale, I don’t know what is.
Thank you children, thank you my friends and thank you the stars and the mountains of Ruka.

I had a dream, 2 days ago it became reality.
The next step will be to help these kids and reward them for their talent. We are well on our way.

That’s why
I keep loving what I do and I keep doing what I love.

And the rest are history and dark shadows

CORAZON Y OJOS QUE VEN / HEART AND EYES THAT CAN SEE by Daniel Malka

Capturing one’s soul and story filled eyes, has always been a pleasure as well as a mystery for me.

Maybe because it always opens a window on my own soul and heart, and sometimes that in itself is not so simple after all.

No matter where, how and when, as long as there is light and people, there will be new odysseys and beauty to photograph.

All we need to do, is open our heart and our eyes, and they will do the same.

Mexico En La Sombra Del Tiempo The Daniel Malka Photo Project

Mexico En La Sombra Del Tiempo.

The tale and photodocumentary of En La Sombra Del Tiempo was photographed with blind eyes, a camera and all the love that one can ever give and express. That the pain that one suffers from a broken heart or a loss is only a measure of the love that one can give (receive), see the world with an open heart, without any fears and with humility, sincerity and dignity. And that, is something that could never be learned or robbed and is the true essence of photography. United by destiny and separated by numbers, we began to share a vision, and the knowledge that everything exposed to light casts a shadow, even time. This photography documentary and story is a tribute to love, desire, passion, nostalgia, pain, hope, surprise, light, shadow,a time that could never be revived, and to never forget. Thanks to Georgina Avila,, all my friends in Mexico and to all the kind people in Mexico.
